The Guthrie Collective offers a variety of services and events for our local community. Our services include short term accommodation, supported holidays, 1:1 supports and capacity building supports. One of The Guthrie Collective’s most popular services is our well-thought-out social groups catering for anyone over the age of 9 years. The Goal Getters
A social and skill building group for children between the ages of 9-17 years.
We have had enquires from parents whose children attend mainstream schooling and are as they say “falling through the gaps”.
We understand that families are having to resort to 1:1 support due to not being able to find the right group for their child. This is 1. not sustainable for a lot of children and 2. Not meeting the social goals. So why not do both - Social and Life skills
Get in touch if you have a primary or high school aged child itching to make some friends with likeminded people or who wants to build their skills in a certain area.
The Guthrie Girls
A social group for young ladies between the ages of 18-28 years.
Whilst we value ourselves on being inclusive to all abilities, this particular social group is for ladies who have a “high functioning” diagnosis or maybe haven’t found their right social circle yet.
Our aim for this group is that ladies will have multiple opportunities to form friendships in a supported, fun and encouraging environment with the hope that once connections are made, funded supports can step back.
All Guthrie Adventures
A social group for men between the ages of 18-28 years.
This social group occurs weekly on a Wednesday, with opportunities for weeknight and weekend support.
